What is Salik?
"Salik" (Arabic word) "Clear" (English word) is a Road Toll System which will be collected automatically from the user who travels through the Salik Toll Gates in Dubai.
How Salik deducts amount for the toll fee?
User needs to purchase and affix the Salik tag on their vehicle's windshield. There is a RFID technology in the Salik tag. Every time when you cross through the toll gate, it will deduct money from your salik account through RFID chip.
